Meet the Team | Archie Bobbins

Archie joined our company this year as an administrator – find out more about his day-to-day role and interests below…

How long have you worked here?

I have now been here nearly 10 months. Due to us growing so quickly, I was only the new boy for 3 weeks.

What does your job entail?

I’m a Wealth Administrator which involves dealing with the day-to-day administration tasks linked to servicing our clients. It’s a really busy department and I’m learning huge amounts every day.

Are you currently studying for any qualifications?

I’m not too far away from completing my NVQ Level 4 Business Administration course. I then hope to embark on my first financial services examination!

Do you already hold any qualifications?

Not linked to financial services, but I hold NVQ Level 3 Business Administration and I’m also a trained first aider (although I’m not good with blood!)

What did you do before you became part of the Ring Associates team?

I was working in client relations for a local property information company.

Tell us what you like to do outside of Ring Associates.

Mainly music or sport, I go to a lot of gigs and like a wide array of music! I also enjoy football, tennis, biking and going to the gym.

Where do you see your future at Ring Associates?

The plan is to work my way through my financial services examinations, obtain my Diploma and hopefully become an Independent Financial Adviser! I realise that there is a lot to learn and a lot of hard work along the way.

What do you love about working at Ring Associates?

As cheesy as it sounds, it’s the people! Knowing you have support around you really helps and makes you want to work better as an individual and as a team. The team ethic here means that everyone is striving for the same goal and that’s what I love about it!

Tell us a ‘fun fact’ about yourself.

I’ve gone for three facts here…

1). I know every word to Paolo Nutini’s album, ‘These Streets’

2). I won awards as a youngster for Northern Soul dancing.

3). I own a 1972 Vespa which is my pride and joy!
